How I Survived Middle School The New Girl
Author
Nancy Krulik
Genre
realistic fiction
ISBN
9780545013031
Review
I liked this one a lot. Nancy Krulik has written another great story in the perspective of a normal 6th grader. In Joyce Kilmer Middle School, there's this new girl from England. She becomes one of the Pops(as in popular). Besides from that, the student council is going to make a fundraising carnival, and Addie and Jenny make a bet on making the best booth. The loser has to wear pajamas to school. Jenny Mcafee and her friends try to create the best, money-raising booth for the carnival. The Pops have the cool, new girl as an advantage. Who will win? This book, I liked. I always enjoy reading about people like me. I really admire Jenny and her friends' kindness and their friendship. But the thing with the How I Survived Middle School series is that they aren't very...exciting.   Search in the Library Catalog
